Type classification is a basic system of grouping typefaces, providing designers a point of reference. Typically, a letter from the alphabet or word would be shown to illustrate the characteristics that make up each class, but I chose a ubiquitous pictogram (or "glyph" in this case) from AIGA's standard symbol set to be the graphic that represents the different classes...adding a more human touch. Just like a typeface, each character is hand-sketched then rendered as vector art.
