Inspired by the beautiful interview by Petra Nemcova and her quote "The world is one body. When one part is injured, all is effected." So very sad for the Japanese people but I'm so impressed with their dignity and grace. I've only spent a few days in Japan but I LOVED everything about it.
This design was created with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. Other designers have been creating 'Help Japan' posters that are beautiful and minimal. My impression of Japanese culture and design is that it is detail oriented and well thought out. I spent hours layering in intricate details that symbolize the culture, tragedy of the 3.11.11 disaster and how Japan will rise above with beauty and dignity.
