In my opinion, yours works have a visual connection with electronic music, from New Order to Front 242. Good visuals, good concepts, good execution, Congrats, I love them!!
Óscar: you have understood perfectly the connection between my visual work and electronic music which has always played a major part in my creative development... I grew up listening to Kraftwerk, Eno, SynthPop, Ambient, Acid, Techno, Warp, Minimal etc.... and its associated aesthetic has also influenced my graphic design style (that's been my main occupation for many years, still is in part....)... Those influences can also been heard in the music that I make, basically for personal fun... last year I got to do a few remixes for people like Gary Numan and John Foxx (who I got the pleasure to know and collaborate with on an exhibition in London), if you want to check out some of my tracks you can find them here, a few of them are free to dowload too! Hope you'll like them! http://soundcloud.com/angel62
When I was a teenager in the eighties Kraftwerk, Einstürzende Neubauten, Test Dept., Depeche Mode, Nitzer Ebb, ... and John Foxx were my favourites musicians. Your visual eork
... I am using my IPod (sometimes is difficult to write) I am going to download these remixes, I love Numan and Foxx. I did sonic art in the eighties, and some installations with my alter ego Alex Nei, and I know how difficult is to translate this music to visuals.
I listened to some of your music. Greats like the pictures! The sound is close to V. Clarke (clean and perfect electronic music), althought, there are some of ambient in some passages. The remixes are great. If you are interested in some of my sound-art and music projects, visit http://www.myspace.com/alexnei (they are more rough and noisy, but probably they will be interesting by you :-) )
Óscar: thank you for taking the time to check out my music and giving me some valuable feedback!! I will definitely have a listen to your music projects and then report back! :-)
