This piece was originally (1986) a drawing. Later a black and white hybrid painting and drawing (1987), Much later color and the hands were added (1989).
The painting illustrates the dynamics of a relationship in peril. The animals are symbolic obstacles in the way to her.
The original painting sold to a collector in New Zealand in 2011.
