I was a young child and the first grandchild on my dad's side of the family..............I was also unaware of how sick my grandmother was (although she would pass away from cancer before I turned 4 years old). While visiting at the hospital (which didn't allow children to visit then), I was left with hold up a dandelion bouquet for her to see from outside the hospital window. (My parents did sneak me in one time and I also remember my portrait sitting on the table by her bedside). Your photo could be me a few decades ago................thanks for the great memories!
