WAYUU YOUNG NATIVE LADY. The earth is marked within all indigenous nations of the world, the life and history of each man and woman, but above all, the unique teachings to understand our existence. Woumainkat (Our Earth), is a female and sacred being, fertilized by Juyaa (Rain) and in actuality, being effected by mega development projects, armed conflicts and other plans that seek to consolidate her destruction. To conceive Wounmainkat as a great woman as the only, unique and unable to be imitated, all the possibility of reflection upon the multiple types of violence that women endure, just as our mother earth.
