Originally from California, I'm an artist living in mid-coast Maine. I have a background in fine art, book illustration and surface pattern design. My favorite art pieces are when I can combine a little of all three into one. You know, rendered with a slight influence of Paul Klee or maybe Marc Chagall, mixed with lots of fun patterning and color with a little whimsy thrown in giving it that sort of children's bookish kind of feel.
