Hello Again Society6-ers,
It's time for my 2nd post, and I am happy to present an older piece of mine, but it's one that I have loved from the beginning, and it still has possesses a lot of magic for me!
Enjoy! ^_^
About "Hortensia": I love the Victorian and Edwardian Aesthetic, especially the work of Alphonse Mucha, but the "Gibson Girl" is also a major inspiration in this watercolor-on-wood (don't fret, it's sealed with waterproof coating so it will be archival) painting. I loved using the watercolor because I love the natural look of wood, so I didn't want the paint to fully obscure it.
