You are now viewing Past Unforgotten from my People Art collection. Past Unforgotten is about experiences we encounter and how they stay with us long after the event has past. Even though we may not fully remember what transpired, these episodes are imprinted on our person, our spirit, mind, and energy. This is the second piece from my People Art collection, which has a bolder and more aggressive painting technique than the first. I not only wanted to imply a history of the man in the painting, but have a history on the canvass as well; the application, scraping away, and reapplication of paint left the piece itself with its own history of process in its creation.
