Thank you Angelo and YM. Angelo,a lot of patience, but, also, they will perch forever guarding their nectar this time of year. I have several feeders with small trees about where they can light. Manual mode, wide open, and moderate shutter speed to capture a lot of ambient light--I used flash to help freeze some motion.
