This image formed from a doodle, at which time I was intrigued by the societal phenomenon of the book ‘The Secret’. Virtually everyone was going on about the idea of the Law of Attraction, how our internal dialogue/self-programming is what largely determines our reality, and that by focusing on a perceived desired outcome (almost always a financial/material gain) one could control reality and the conditions of one’s life. Is it really that simple? Do we, in fact, have within us the power to control the conditions of our lives merely with our thoughts?
