The idea for this painting came from an Armin van Buuren song and partly from a personal experience. In this painting I try to go with lighter colors and tried to convey a sense of heat. The flower is supposed to be glowing hot, as if it were metal. The bright colors turned out to be more difficult to work with than I anticipated. I am content with the final product, but it is not what I set out to do.
