This was inspired by a rainy afternoon reading Jane Austen’s “Pride & Prejudice” . I wanted to capture the pride & beauty of Elizabeth Bennet. She is wearing a necklace engraved with “Darcy” the man that she loves ( the shape of the name plate taken from an old typewriter) and a ruff made out of paper and ink to represent Austen’s tools of her trade.
