"We are the 100%" was created out of a frustration over the divided culture we live in. Rich/poor, black/white, liberal/conservative, christians/muslims... We're all in this together yet it feels more like a society of cliques peddling divisive propaganda. We have more in common than what divides us! The design features a tattered fabric which serves as a metaphor for a distressed country flag. The fabric was scanned at a very high resolution and serves as a backdrop to the seal. The seal is cut off, or divided, as a symbol of our fragmented state, but the message is one of UNITY. The stars in the seal are seven pointed to emphasize the hope for a united seven continents of the word. We are the 100% and perhaps someday we will occupy earth with reverence, peace and unity.
