Angelo Cerantola commented on June 25, 2012 5:00am
Yeah, I guess it will crumble to dust like everything else, one day! Nice work! ;-)
John Medbury (LAZY J Studios) commented on June 26, 2012 7:55am
Absolutely Angelo and thankyou :)

Don't think i have ever spent this long on one design before. I decided to go quite subtle (too subtle perhaps? lol) on this and at the display size here a lot is lost. Have a larger viewing size on Deviantart for anyone who may like a look; http://j-medbury.deviantart.com/#/d54s78q
Angelo Cerantola commented on June 26, 2012 12:10pm
Hi John, that's dangerously large on Deviantart! Aren't you worried someone might nick it? Removing the mark would be sooooo easy wouldn'it?
John Medbury (LAZY J Studios) commented on June 26, 2012 3:50pm
Hey Angelo yes i did think about that but in the end it was an experiment and i think i am more worried about clear images getting taken off here in the end lol - all the same though it may be a good idea to reduce the display size a bit :)

This is great John - a whole new take on art and life. And it looks chillingly realistic ...
John Medbury (LAZY J Studios) commented on June 27, 2012 11:37pm
Thanks Patricia and happy you like it - in the end i lost count of the amount of layers and raw photographs/textures that went into it lol.Was a fun learning curve in editing and digital drawing for me and definately something i want to do again :)

Hilarious! And a great message. Just wait until the art conservators and restorers get a hold of this... actually - that could be an interesting market for this piece (thinking iPhones etc.)
John Medbury (LAZY J Studios) commented on October 16, 2012 6:19am
Hey thankyou Su G for your kind words - yes! would be very happy if this (or any of my work lol) found its place in the artistic world :) This was a massive lesson in improving my skills and probably one of my least popular works haha......You have inspired me to rework this for the covers and T's and also produce an altered version that i am personally very happy with - so once again thankyou! :)
Project M commented on July 16, 2013 1:12am
Just wondering if you've ever seen the real thing in Paris (like me :p)
John Medbury (LAZY J Studios) commented on July 18, 2013 12:32am
Lol no unfortunately M - the closest I have been so far is a poster bought back by a friends backpacking adventure. Next year will be my turn I think :)
Project M commented on July 18, 2013 7:09am
I personally was disappointed when I first saw it. Didn't realize it was so small....
