as a kid, traveling from truro to river john, i watched this house decay, it was sad and beautiful. love this photo.

Aha! A fellow Nova Scotian! I too grew up watching this house slowly fade. It was only in my early years of shooting that I finally appreciated the desolation and beauty of that old homestead. From what I understand it was built in 1898. Thank you all for your kind words!
