Here at the lab we’re always playing with different patterns to develop languages for projects down the line. These images are a study of cellular automation, or micro-structure modeling, specifically Steven Wolfram’s one-dimensional pattern first derived in 1983.
The automation divides a preconceived mass into contoured planes into a grid of points. Lots of chaos in an ordered fashion.
