This was a commission I did for Maria Espinosa. It's about the history of how her family was displaced in Culebra by the U S nay and migrated to the island of St. Croix in the 1940's. Maria Espinosa's Grandfather lost the use of his left hand, his right arm and vision from his left eye as a result of a hand grenade left by the navy at the age 14.
