Thanks for all the great feedback everyone. She's a really sweet cat... loves people AND dogs :-) She and our largest farm dog cuddle up every night together. Their colors are similar so they just blend in together as one furry lump :-)

She is indeed, Joylene... and I have to give her a haircut in the summer because by winter's end, she is matted terribly. And a long coat is extremely hot during the summer months, too.

Thanks Jamesy.. and yes, they tend to get quite matted by Springtime. I always have to give Cassie a bit of a trim (which she despises while I'm doing it) and I'm sure it makes her feel much better on those hot days. In the winter, she looks like a small throw rug! LOL

She wishes, Efi! haha. She'd LOVE to be a house cat, but with that much fur... it will never happen. Three of my four dogs are shed-free, lol. Say NO to furry homes :-)
