I must confess - I'd never actually seen the entire Wizard of Oz until painting this. It had become a thing to talk about at parties, whenever the movie was mentioned. I would always follow it up with how I'd never seen ET either...which is still true. However, wanting to participate in this years OZ invitational I broke down and watched the thing. Then I made this lovely painting. I had a delightful time sitting in our garden sketching poppies. Hope you like it! ♥
