An astrophysicist with high hopes is let down when his suit is bombarded by asteroids shortly after embarking on its maiden voyage. Lucky for the suit, it managed to salvage the majority of the scientist's neural patterns in the form of a digital backup, but the consciousness of the man in the suit is now forever lost to the voids of interstellar space.
