The Shills (album design)
The Shills (album design)
I've been working closely with the Boston based band, The Shills, whose new album will be coming out later this year. The title is "Keep Your Hands Busy" and deals with a lot of personal issues that they have suffered, which brought me to this idea. Everyone has a different way of distracting themselves from the troubles in the world. Some fun time wasters, others are destructive habits, but we can all relate to a nervous or anxiety driven habit that helps to clear our heads. I wanted to show a variety of ways we distract ourselves each and everyday. Just like how we rely on music to take us away, even if it's just for a moment.

Solid concept and I really love the style, too. So detailed!
I really admire how you drew the hands knitting, too. Woven stuff like that is complicated for me to draw.

Very powerful, this piece speaks loudly, at least for me. It very well done, and well thought out. Nice work here.
