Thank You Verona. This was actually shot from my front porch. It was getting foggy and I shot toward my neighbors' property. The lighting near their home gave off a neat glow.
Thank You Brian. This was a non-tripod shot. I have some ornamental ironwork on my porch. I pressed the camera up against it for stability and let it go. I'd had to go back and look but I'm pretty sure it was either a 2 or 4 second shot.
Hi Shawn. Thank You. I have scaled back on the coffee a little since I left the Coast Guard. I'd generally spend 12-18 hours a day in the combat information center where it was always dark and kept at about 50-degrees to keep the radars cool. That meant I would average about a dozen large cups a day. :-)
