In recent days, I have received a variety of requests from people asking how I captured this image.

I read your description that you posted on your blog. This looks like a painting!

Hi Elizabeth. Yes, It does. That's one of the neat things about doing High Dynamic Range imaging. It brings out colors and tones that are often not found in a normal photo. There's plenty of work to it, but I'm generally happy with the result. ~ Tony

Hi Andrea. Thank You very much. ...and you're welcome for the link. As for the truck...I guess that depends on where he lives. :-)). ~ Tony

you use a texture filter on it
Anthony M. Davis commented on October 19, 2011 6:15pm
Hi Lou. Nope. No texture. This is straight HDR imaging.

WOW, such a fabulous image! This is pretty close to me... I live in WNC. By the looks of your page banner, I see you love the Blue Ridge Mountains as much as I do.
Anthony M. Davis commented on December 7, 2011 3:45am
Yes. The Blue Ridge offers a lot of great opportunities. I really like the Flat Rock, NC area though.

This is an amazing image. I love the variety of colors! It's like my art teacher told me, the water is not just blue there are greens, reds, etc. in there too.
