Adult Toy Story
Adult Toy Story
Part of being an artist is being able to perceive things in ways that others cannot. This toy was sitting around the studio for almost 6 months before I painted her. And when I did, I wanted there to be a back story, not just a pretty toy to play with. As always, I try to incorporate my illustration and cartooning skills into a piece. These photos are ok, but don’t really show how much the colors pop! This and all new published works will be displayed and available for purchase at my Brixpix Eye Candy show on August 28th.

I prefer 'do not'. 'Cannot' seems to imply a superiority - which is the WORST thing an artist can pretend to be.

Clever piece, regardless.

Thanx for the sideways compliment. Cannot implies cannot! There artists I know that can create art that I cannot. It is not superiority. It simply is. We are all unique individuals with our own vision. Either you can in this world or you cannot. To me, art is just another form of communication, like writing or music. You seem to raise yourself on a pedestal by stating I was pretending superiority. Which seems no better in the long run. I pretend nothing. I only reflect back what I have been told by others.
