this is an older piece of mine, I still have the original actually, it's 54" by 55" done in ballpoint pen and watercolor, and it's one of my favorites. I've posted it before, long ago, but I've had a few friends ask me to make it available as a print so here it is.

You have a very twisted imagination, and I like it. On a technical level, I really appreciate your control over watercolors and linework. Very solid. I am curious where you turn to for inspiration. If it is a closely guarded secret, I understand. I sometimes wish I could take a sip out of whatever brain goblet you're sipping from...

@Paul, I have always loved animals and nature, as well as old scientific illustrations and fairy tales, and alot of my style comes from that. I try to keep updated on environmental news, and am fascinated by how human mythology transforms animals. Most of my inspiration comes from the continual battle to preserve wilderness in the world, along with those myths we have created to make animals more comfortable in our eyes.

Oh my gosh I love mythology,too! Now I can see where you get a bit of your imagination from. Your art work is beautiful, but creepy at the same time. I love it!! I wish I could make my work look real, but it always turns out looking like a cartoon. I haven't learn water color yet. But after seeing what you can do, I'm willing to give it a try!
