Framed Art Print

DESCRIPTION

Choose from a variety of frame styles, colors and sizes to compliment your favorite Society6 gallery, or fine art print - made ready to hang. Fine-crafted from solid woods, premium shatterproof acrylic protects the face of the art print, while an acid free dust cover on the back provides a custom finish. All framed art prints include wall hanging hardware.

this is one of my favorite pieces I've made, it's a slightly older piece of mine from 2009, I had some friends request it as a print so I'm posting it for sale here, the original piece is 54" by 63", it's water color, ballpoint pen, colored pencil, gesso and micron pen on paper.

This is Surgery!!!!
Caitlin Hackett commented on September 13, 2011 11:13am
thanks everyone, I'll have to post some detail shots, the wounds in their necks are actually being opened by little zippers, as are the holes in the trees. it is rather surgical haha, though I tend to think of it more as mutation

It would be good to see those zippers, I was making up a story in my head as to how their necks got that way. Needless to say, it wasn't pretty. ;)

You add so much detail in your work. That's very good! You have such awesome ideas, keep them coming! I'm very sorry about the gloomy Thursday you had. I haven't been myself either for a long time. My favorite art teacher died February 29, 2012. The worst day of my life, and I see things differently now. But that will never stop me from working. I will work hard everyday as if he is still here with me now. I wish I could see you, and your art work in person. That would me feel so happy once again. Never forget don't quit working even if your world is turned upside down like mine. Keep fighting, and get back up.That will make you a stronger person in the inside. And your art work will grow while you grow with it,too!
