roseate dusk
this is a roseate spoonbill piece I've been working on for the Dark Waters show coming up this November, it's 22.5" by 30", ballpoint pen, water color, colored pencil and gold acrylic on paper

Brilliant! Roseate spoonbills are one of my favourite birds. So lovely while also oddly reptilian in the face. A great combination.

@ Lindsey, I love them too! the beautiful pink plumage combined with their wrinkled, bony faces and odd, fleshy black feet, they're equally lovely and terrible
