Boston Rapid Transit Map - Without Bus Routes

by Cameron Booth

Art Print

Collect your choice of gallery quality Giclée, or fine art prints custom trimmed by hand in a variety of sizes with a white border for framing.

Due to the small type and fine detail in this map, I can only recommend purchasing the LARGE or X-LARGE sizes.

My original reworking of the Boston Rapid Transit map. This version does not show key bus routes, which makes for a cleaner, subway only map. My preferred version.

WHERE the heck do you get this stuff printed so cheap? I have a transit map I want to get printed 48" x 48 but it's like $250-$300 for ONE print where I'm at.

Seems a little on the pricey side to me, Chris. A good reprographics shop will do inkjet prints (not "giclee" -- which is the made-up arty (expensive) name for inkjet!) for about $9/square foot on standard bond paper (In your case, $9 x 16 sq.ft. = $144). The price goes up depending on the grade of paper you want, obviously. 48" wide is pretty much the widest roll of paper you'll ever get, so you'll probably need to hunt around to find a shop that can do it.
