I'm going through a lot of my old (really old) travel photos and looking at them anew. These were all shot on film with compact travel cameras (all I could afford at the time) and then scanned from their 35mm negatives.
My approach is two-fold: one - you don't need a whiz-bang camera to compose and shoot a great shot; and two - exploring the concept of "faded memories" and the distant past through post-processing... low saturation and a moody, ethereal feeling throughout. Let me know what you think!
