It seems like everything that utilizes words within an image is labeled 'Typography' on the internet. What I do in my illustration work is lettering. I draw all the words and letters from scratch, whereas typography is the act of setting type using typefaces.

Haha! I figure if most people don't know the difference I should keep tagging with "typography."
