I'm in Queensland now but I lived in Melbourne for 5 years and I spent 9 months traveling up and down the great ocean road living in a tent. Fantastic!!

Yep, it is a place you keep going back to:) I too love camping along there! Hope, Queensland is treating you well, I was up there for 12 years but my day time job bought me back to Vic!!

Queenslands great, love it. Vic was a bit to cold for me but I do miss her rugged coastline and ancient beauties!

My kids live up there still, both married with kids & both living at Redland Bay, just south of Brizzy!!

Wasn't Childers the centre of the devasting floods? Hope you're family & friends were not affected but I guess everyone was affected in one way or another :(

Bundaberg was the center, Childers is up high so other than being cut off and running out of milk we were okay. My family in Bundaberg escaped without too much damage but this whole region is a mess after being hit so soon after the last big one in 2011. Economically we are in for the hard yards!
