No Chains, No Traction, No Common Sense

Coming from a country town, in a dry flat arrand land I never knew a snow storm could hit like it did to me & it was a life or death situation I had never encounted before. The Car was out of control as i steered/tried to steer up to the summit but every inch I took I went backwards a foot, sliding towards the side of the road where there was at least a 30 metre drop. I thought I was a goner so grab my camera & took this photo of the predicament I was in, if anyone found me they could see my last gasp of life through the lens of a camera :(.
When I was about a metre from the edge a 4 wheel drive passed me at a top speed & luckily for me he turned around & towed me up to the summit:). I blessed myself when arriving there then just to top off my day, a Park Ranger gave me a lecture then find me $200. I was then told I will not be returning down the road so had to stay two nights at a cost of $1000 in total.
If you are reading this & have a huge smile on your face, zip it because I have been ridiculed from people at the Summit, the nearby town of Walhalla & even my hometown some 1,000 kms away.........grrrrrrrrrrr! So, I think I've endured enough ~ thankyou!
