"2179. The U.S.S. Sulaco, a Conestoga-class light assault carrier, is sent on company orders to investigate the remote colony on LV-426. Amongst the platoon of United States Colonial Marines, two civilians were onboard to act in an advisory capacity. Eleanor Ripley and Weyland-Yutani Corporation representative, Carter Burke. "Bishop" was the assigning artificial person. Reports indicate the Sulaco reached its destination, but for reasons unknown, left the planet prematurely. The ship has not been recovered and is believed to be lost in deep space. No charges are pending at this point in time but the investigation into the whereabouts of the U.S.S. Sulaco and its crew, including the two civilians and artificial person, remains active."
