I like the birds AND the cats, Randi! In IMG 8423, I like the middle one the best, the right one second best and the left one third best :-) I love how your pattern mixes always come together to form these colorful, imaginative fantasy backgrounds that are so fun to look at. My two favorites are: the bird picture IMG 8432, and the middle cat picture in IMG 8423. (If those are for your exhibit, I think they're a great fit!!!)

Your bird paintings are always so lovely. And I really love the cat one with the view of it's back and that cascade of bubbles and the outward-radiating stripes.

Hi all my good friends! Thank you for the great and useful feedback! I think I am a little more confident about my birds than my cats (I'v been painting birds since 2006)-
we will see what happens. ...time will show...etc.

Randi, I adore your work and I can imagine how long it takes to finish these multilayered, detailed works! It is obvious that you have a special connection to birds ;-) but I love the cat series, too! Your portraits are also breathtaking, so much to see and to feel the well dosed colour explosion ;-) It is like walking in those coloured layers and forms...Thank you for sharing a glimpse of your works in progress, very interesting!

Thank you for stopping by Iris. Yes, the paintings sometimes takes years to finish. I have a break from the painting work right now. Perhaps I will pick it up again in the wintertime. I'm happy you enjoyed my post here. And thank you for your kind words. I appreciate it a lot!
