Thanks Rachael! So glad you love it. It's funny, when you draw something like a bonsai, you envision it a certain way. A way that feels natural, with strength and dignity. I'd love to see a picture of your bonsai. I have a feeling that it has the same qualities.

Meg, to answer your question on Facebook, I first inked the tree and then scanned it and recreated it in Illustrator, doing some tweaks along the way. Then for the magic...I brought it into Photoshop and changed the color and added the wind texture and the beautiful full moon illustration. It was really fun to create. Thanks for asking. I look forward to seeing your new work, too.
