heh! we have a running conversation about the Venice (Beach, as in California) -ization of our neighborhood(s) in Barcelona, all the falafel joints & year-round skateboarders/tourists, etc. but: nope! it's «El Raval», always changing, ever the same... “same as it ever was”, indeed. pace, AC!

:).... Those chairs stacks just looked suspiciusly "Piazza San Marco" to me... Yes, I can guess the changes in Barcelona, I had the chance to see for myself during my visits to your wonderful city! It's happening all over the globe, unfortunately!
