Wow. My mind traveled in a number of directions while taking in this new work. The background carries a hint of Rousseau. The cardinal's implacable and cruel face seems to warn that love is nothing to f*** with.

Wow, this has such beautiful colors and lines. I love the precision of the bird - it feels like a cross between an Audubon painting and a poster for a noir film. The only thing that makes me sad is that I'm seeing it for the first time now - and not in my feed :(
