Erin Cooper was born in Oregon in 1979. She started painting when she was very young, and took her first college art class at 13. She took a hiatus from her fine art while pursuing a career in graphic design. Her forays into design created an even deeper need for her to express herself in color without distinct form. When Erin resumed her fine art pursuits in 2010, her work evolved to an abstract expression of color and pattern. In the past few years, she's shown her work at various small establishments, and has a permanent installation at the newly constructed OECU headquarters in Oklahoma City.
