My art shows curiosity for the concept of interconnectivity and desire. I like to study the past and history to comprehend the present I live in, what led me here to a globalised society. I take real life icons, inspired by the subcultures of the 20th century, I transform them into portraits of contemporary youth subculture, creating a non linear narrative of happenings and stories. I believe subcultures are being globalised as well, and through art I portray its destruction, as a means to liberation, and hoping to see its rebirth.

My concern is to build things that express our relationship to this country-to other countries-to this world-to other worlds-in terms of myself. To glimpse some of the fear, hope, ugliness, beauty, and mystery that exists in all of us and which hangs over all the young people today.
