The pilot was not thrilled with the situation. Aside from the blown turbine that would likely take weeks to find the parts to repair, there was his contract with the scavengers; who were not the best group to piss off. But he was an optimistic at heart. Yes, he would probably not be doing business in this sector of the Wastelands again. Yes, his former partners would also have a price on his head by the end of the week. But he was okay with this. Maybe this was his queue to leave the smuggling business behind. He could do something quiet and respectable for awhile. His Uncle always said there was a spot for him in the workshop. Thoughts of repairing busted boilers all day filled his head as he surveyed the skies for some traffic. Nothing. Something will turn up soon. He was, after all, on a trade highway.
