Thanks so much Angelo and Geoffrey - and yes, the text probably the most important part of this one, funny how that works sometimes and not others... :)
Hmmmm... This one has me perplexed - and I love a visual challenge! There seems to be many layers of meaning here. Sarcasm in the text, and anger, sex, power and control represented in the form and color. I keep looking and re-looking; it's a very captivating image. Nice work, Heather!
Thanks Jacqueline - I always love your analysis, and I strongly believe that the "challenge" is in the eye of the beholder and therefore you could never be way off!!
Aside to Jacqueline and note to self: Heather is so generous. She always provides a graceful route of entry and exit for us whether we are "right" or "wrong".
Yes, Geoffrey! You are so right! I love that Heather lets our imaginations go where they please without correcting or redirecting. Thank you, Heather, for letting us revel in our own analysis :)
Heather knows that we'll all have our subjective analysis 'cause everyone will see things differently.... that's the beauty of her work! Wonderful piece again, Heather! :))
without words, 'for not talking about nothing', black and red are strong mix, but in this case they identify with similar forms. It's like a kiss each other: the red, the passion, and the black, the darkness. This is a very hard work !!!
