This is a great piece, Heather! The composition is flawless... I love how the amorphic form hovers ambiguously over what appears to be a rapidly moving sea. For me, the title connects the image to my perception.

Ok, so this wonderful piece -to my eye- reminds me of an ostrich. Then with your title I put some soulful twist on it that this creature is missing some piece of himself through his landscape ... he looks literally missing parts, but I see him there physically whole, but not spiritually whole. I noticed I have grown to rely on words with your pieces and therefore I put more value into your titles ... Love the piece and as always love how it creates a storyline in my mind ...

this piece is very strong: the lines, the contrast and the title is perfect. I like these minimalist works with handmade traces and close to the expresionist style. Congrats !
