Great piece, Heather! Again your work is speaking to the new momma in me... Here is mom with baby on piggy back. Of course, mom has to have her eyes on the back of her head AND everywhere else as your depiction could imply. I must add, those shoes look like a heavy weight, as motherhood can feel, but they also look firmly grounded as motherhood can do to you.

Great drawing. Thinking about the text version: 'watch me watch' competes with the eyes (the connection is visual) in the text version. But in this version the eyes shine over all. I think that you selected this version with wisdom. I like the eyes in this piece!!
