at first look, she was falling apart to me - which is the ultimate "letting loose", I suppose. OR does she rely on being plugged in to keep her together. I imagine that answer is different for everyone. It's a bit of a Rohrschach to me ~ lovely!!
PAUL PiERROt commented on January 19, 2012 9:02pm
truly fatasticu! thumbs up! sweet heather!
Catherine Holcombe commented on January 19, 2012 9:35pm
I have stared at this for a long time. I am going to have to come back to it. Save me a spot in the front row!

What they said. Will sit next to Catherine once I've pondered. Could take some time-I'm a newcomer to wordless communication. Oy. Art isn't easy...
Heather Goodwind commented on January 20, 2012 9:29am
Thank you Angela, Paul, Catherine, Krzystof, Manu, Alex and Geoffrey! Angela, your interpretation is fantastic as always. Geoffrey, I did try to help with the title :).

One day we will all read about your work in the art history books. I think your work defines the new avante garde!
Amanda Mocci commented on January 20, 2012 9:58am
Gorgeous as always Heather! I always look forward to your new work
Heather Goodwind commented on January 20, 2012 10:15am
Thanks Amanda, I really appreciate that! Jacqueline, I'm so flattered I'm embarrassed!
Jacqueline Maldonado commented on January 20, 2012 10:41am
You won't be embarassed when it comes true! Just remember that I was the first to predict it!
Geoffrey Agrons commented on January 20, 2012 10:44am
And bringing up the rear, I second that emotion. With respect to earlier, Heather, "it's not you, it's me."
Geoffrey Agrons commented on January 20, 2012 10:46am
I'm probably functioning on brain stem level here, but I return to this work and keep having visions of Joan of Arc. No, don't say it...
Olivia Joy StClaire commented on January 20, 2012 10:59am
Beautiful work, Heather!

Nice
Heather Goodwind commented on January 20, 2012 11:51am
Thanks Crooked Teeth and Joy! Jacqueline, you are too sweet. Geoffrey - wow, I am going to think about her being Joan of Arc (on brain stem level, of course).

Efi Tolia commented on January 29, 2012 3:46am
This is enigmatic, Heather... "She" looks like she is standing by support, or that her head is unplugged from her body, somehow...
Heather Goodwind commented on January 29, 2012 4:34am
:) Thanks Efi - I have to admit that this was definitely a head separate from body moment for me. The support look on the bottom comes from some sculptures I'd done around the same time - kind of like "dolls" that were supported by their skirt frames instead of having legs....
Emilie R. commented on February 19, 2012 5:42pm
