KOALA

Art Print

DESCRIPTION

Collect your choice of gallery quality Giclée, or fine art prints custom trimmed by hand in a variety of sizes with a white border for framing.

Illustration based on colourful juice, coffee and tea splotches on light beige oil paper. Visit http://www.hoploid.com/ or follow me on facebook https://www.facebook.com/hoploid

The way it works is called "apophenia". That´s a term used by psychologists to describe the mind´s will to construct meaning, order and forms even from chaotic structures - just like seeing faces in the clouds. At first paper is prepared with random coffee, tea and juice drippings. The "found" motifs are extracted and details are worked out using colored ink.
