My typical illustration process involves creating analog textures which are then scanned, manipulated in various ways and then woven into representational imagery. I've always loved the forms and textures paint and various mediums make by themselves - to the point of obsession.
I'd gladly hang up any "paint drippings" as art in my own home, but presenting them as such to the public always felt akin to robbery. For years, my wife has encouraged me to do so, asking me to set aside particular ones for her (I resurface and reuse the plates normally).
Finally, I've reach a point in my life where I'm absent of pride and self respect. So, I gladly invite you to be the victim of thievery and hope you enjoy the process.
