Advice!
Advice!
I don't know if anyone here is a graphic designer at all, but I need a little advice on a logo. I'm designing a logo for someone and I'm having some trouble with it. I've made two designs and I don't know if either of them are any good. So here are my questions. Any creative advice would help. Thanks

1.) Which one is better? Left or Right?
2.) How can I improve either design.

What sort of company is it for? What are they looking for in a logo?
As far as a logo goes I like the first one, however I like the creativity that you are throwing in the 2nd one. My advice would be keep it simple and clean. If you over complicate it the people that the company is trying to reach either wont get it, or be confused. Bounce ideas off the company, what do they want? What do they like? Sometimes it takes a couple try's with you and your client before its something they want and what you are proud of.

Thanks Timothy. It's actually personal logo for a young film director/editor. He likes the first one aswell. I'm trying to keep it as simple as possible and we're going over other ideas. Thanks again.
