Skins are thin, easy-to-remove, vinyl decals for customizing your device. Skins are made from a patented material that eliminates air bubbles and wrinkles for easy application.
All these works play off of analog TV aesthetics, which I realize now are literally fading away with time and plasmas. We're embedded with these sets of media created images through out absorption of them, through the medium of the TV. I seek to alter this meaning, as the media alters the meaning of these objects.
This work allows a viewer to question the aesthetic of war, as it points to its design and the malleability within it. Something media defines most of the time.
