My work asks the viewer to come face to face with the power and beauty of the natural and the feminine. Using magical realism, I attempt to portray a reverence for these two historically exploited concepts.

I use digital tools to create imagery that is figural with a fantastical / surreal edge. That this imaginative and emotional imagery comes from a mechanical source shows that though technology is a construct of humanity, it can help us appreciate and reconnect with the natural world.
